Reason for contract:

Sheer and utter boredom had been what his life had become. The little toy shop was his pride and joy to run, seeing the happy children leave with teddies and big smiles on their faces. But that was about the only enjoyable part of it, beyond that he had long, empty days and a plethora of bills to pay and not enough money to see fit to the kind of life he wanted. Of course it didn't help that he had a few expensive little habits sucking at his income either. Not enough cash in pocket, never enough..so naturally when an offer to solve all of his monetary issues for some occasional favors popped up, he jumped on board. Smuggling some junk around to get a huge wad of cash sounded more than appealing, after all he had a nice enough way to do it. Stuffed animals made great 'gifts' for anyone.
